Red Skin Island is one of the 15 islands covered under Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. It is an alternate option of Jolly Buoy Island, these two islands are almost the same, so the Govt. administration decided to open these two islands alternatively just to preserve its natural resources.
How To Reach
Red skin Island is about 30 km by road from Port Blair and if you are in Wandoor then you have to take boat to reach there, which takes approximately 1:30 hours.Red skin Island is closed on Monday
Where To Stay
Night stays are not permitted here.There is only changing rooms and washrooms in the Red skin Island.People looking for a picnic outing should avoid the place as there is not a single shop and eatery on the island.
