How To Reach

Baratang Island is located approximately 95 km from Port Blair. You can reach the island using a combination of bus and ferry services from the STS terminal at Aberdeen Bazaar. In addition to the government-operated buses, AC coach services to Baratang Island are also available for a more comfortable journey.

Where To Stay

Unlike Havelock Island, Baratang is still less developed in terms of tourism, so you won’t find luxury hotels or high-end resorts here. Most travelers prefer a day trip to Baratang and return to Port Blair or Rangat for overnight stays.
